Pear & Cinnamon Oats

Ingredients:

1/2 cup oats

150ml almond milk     

1 pear, sliced   

-                  

2 tsp cinnamon

1/2 tsp nutmeg

1/2 tsp vanilla essence  

A squeeze of maple syrup

Handful of mixed nuts 

Handful of mixed seeds

 

Method:

Preheat your oven to 180C, slice the pear and place on a baking sheet.

Drizzle over a squeeze of maple syrup and sprinkle over a teaspoon of cinnamon. Roast in the oven for approx 15 min.

Meanwhile, heat the almond milk in a pan until simmering and stir in the oats.

Add the cinnamon, nutmeg, vanilla essence and another squeeze of maple syrup. Stir for approx 6 mins until creamy and smooth.

Once cooked, take the pear from the oven, place on top of the porridge and sprinkle with nuts and seeds.
